Mini Writers Club provides tips and activities to help you support your child with phonics, reading and writing from Nursery to Year 2.

Nursery

The Pre-Writers Club contains simple activities to
do with your child to develop these skills so they
are ready to learn to hold a pencil and write. 

Nursery & Reception

The Pre-Readers Club contains simple activities to do with your child to develop these skills so they are ready to learn to read. 

Reception & Year 1

Phonics Club is full of games and activities to help introduce sounds and help your child read and spell words using them.

Reception & Year 1

Learn how to form letters correctly using the rhymes and letter formation pictures. In this club, your child will play games to develop their pencil grip and practise their handwriting through play.

Year 1 & Year 2

Looking for a fun way to get your child writing?

This club offers fun activities to get your child's
hands moving using objects such as coins and games
to promote writing. 

Summer Clubs

from Nursery to Reception

Summer Camp is full of fun activities to develop your child's pre-reading and pre-writing skills through games that are linked to the Phase 2 sounds.
 

from Reception to Year 1
 
From reading campfire recipes to making their own tricky word lanterns your child will consolidate the Phase 3 and 4 words and sounds through play.

Phonics Camp includes 30 short videos which teach phonics skills and follow up games, crafts and activities.
