Space Camp - Year 1

If your child is in Year 1, they will do the Phonics Screening Check at the end of the year. Space Camp explains what it is, why it is used and how it is administered. Take a look inside a Screening Check and find out what sounds and types of words are assessed. Space Camp is split into 4 themes: Astronaut Training, Moon Landing, The International Space Station and Mission to Mars. Each section contains videos and games to help your child practise the Phase 5a sounds and blending skills.
