Sometimes children can be reluctant to pick up a pen or pencil at home. Writing for a purpose or introducing a game like Scattegories can often help.
Scattegories is classed as 12+ and some of the categories are quite tricky for children. So I have created a child-friendly list of categories which can be downloaded below.
