The summer reading challenge is back... and it's even bigger!
Two years ago, my daughter Sophie helped me create the Reading Ranger badges for your children to collect.
This year we've made the challenge even bigger, with over 70 collectable badges, creative activities, book reviews, Reading Ranger backpacks to display your badges, a summer memory page and a printable certificate.
Whether your child already loves reading or is still finding their favourite stories, this challenge is all about making books feel exciting.

How it works:
Simply print the pack, choose a reading challenge, complete it and collect the matching badge. Children can complete the challenges in any order and work at their own pace.
Suitable for ages 5–11. If your child isn't reading independently yet, you can enjoy the challenge together by reading aloud.

This is absolutely brilliant… I was fortunate enough to join in last year and loved it. This year feels even more special, and I am completely inspired by Sophie’s love for books, and that she’s making an effort to encourage so many people to read, especially to make a difference to her School Library.
