One of the common errors that children have when they write rainbow letters is that they start from the bottom as you can see with the n and m below.

Choose different coloured felt tips or crayons to write each of the letters. Write the letters along the rainbow, thinking about where to start each letter and saying the phrase as you write them.

You could either use the rainbow download below or a piece of coloured paper to create this colourful handwriting activity.

Roll out some playdough but leave it quite thick. Use your finger to press the letter into the playdough.

Gather a collection of vehicles to create a rainbow. Park them in an arch or drive them along in a curve to create a rainbow shape.
