If your child’s in Year 4, you’ve probably heard whispers about the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) and might be wondering what it involves and how to help your child prepare without the stress!
The Multiplication Tables Check is a short online test that all Year 4 pupils in England take in June. Its purpose is simple: to check that children know their times tables up to 12 × 12 which is a key skill that underpins so much of maths learning in later years.

About Me
I'm Anna and I have a degree in Primary Education and 16 years of teaching experience.
During lockdown, I became a teacher to my own two children (which is much harder!) and shared the learning we did together on my Instagram account which has grown to almost 50K followers.
I set up Mini Writers Club to share activities and resources to help you support your child with phonics, reading and writing.
