This is such a quick activity to make and is a really good way for children to practise spelling their name. Write your child's name onto a piece of carboard/paper. Make a second one but this time cut it into individual letters.

Place the letters face down. Ask your child to turn the letters over one at time. If the find their initial letter they can place it on top of the cardboard name. If they find a different letter, they should put it back face down until they need it. Once they have found the initial letter, they should try to find the second letter. Keep playing until they have made their whole name.
Support: Put the individual letters face up. Ask them to look and find the letters that they need in the correct order.
Extension: Play without the cardboard name. See if they can remember which letters comes next.
Two player game: Make a second set that spells your name. Take it in turns to pick letters and see who is the first to make their whole name.
