The Reception Phase 2 pack contains words made using the sounds they are taught during the autumn term. 
 
This pack contains:

The words are made up of the Phase 2 sounds so that your child can apply their phonics knowledge to practice blending and reading and spelling. 
 
These printable flashcards include two copies of each word. The second copy has sound lines and sound buttons to help your child sound out the word. A sound line shows where two sounds work together to make one sound e.g. ck. This is called a digraph.
 
The focus digraph is written in orange to help your child spot it in the word. Say the sounds as you press each sound button or line. Then blend the sounds to make the words e.g. b-a-ck, back
